Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 1/2 cups shredded cheese
  • 1 cup ricota cheese
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • 1 egg lightly beaten
  • 1 jar pasta sauce
  • 12 lasagna noodles uncooked

Steps

  1. Brown beef on medium heat
  2. While beef is browning, take 1 1/4 cup shredded cheese, ricota cheese, 1/4 cup parmesan cheese, parsley and egg and mix in a seperate bowl until blended
  3. Stir in jar of pasta sauce into the beef
  4. Spread 1 cup of the meat sauce into a 13x9 inch baking dish
  5. Add 1 layer of 3 lasagna noodles
  6. Add 1/3 of cheese mixture
  7. Then repeat the layering 2 more times
  8. Top with the last 3 noodles and the remainding meat sauce
  9. Sprinkle 1 1/4 cup of shredded cheese and 1/4 parmesan
  10. Cover pan tightly with foil
  11. Cook in preheated 350 degree oven for 45minutes
  12. Remove foil and bake for another 15minutes
